With the US $ struggling and our Canadian $ getting stronger, our Sun Tanning Beds & products are having a field day price wise in Canada. . . US high quality tanning beds have dropped in price almost 30% since last spring. . . a good time to buy !

Leasing. . . our Commercial Infrared Saunas are now leasable ! Our lease company gave a thumbs-up on the quality quotient following a very positive tour of Saunacore's facility.

Facts & Figures

Does one of your sunbeds become hot after a few repeated sessions? Are your customers complaining? Do the fans seem to be working . .??? Your bed acrylic's may need replacing. . . they do have a life you know !

UV light gets trapped beneath the plastic, turning into heat and causing the tanning bed to get extremely uncomfortable. A side effect that's just as annoying is that any excess heat produced will severely shorten the life of your lamps.

The result : very expensive !

Measurements - How to get it right...the first time.

ANGLED OR BENT ACRYLICS

  1. Before you remove the acrylic from the bed, look it over, make sure that the one being copied is a good fit. (If not, make a note)
  2. Get a large piece of paper or cardboard, about 12 inches by 40 inches, get a ballpoint pen. A felt pen is not accurate enough for what we're about to do. Place the piece of paper/cardboard on the floor, preferably level without carpet.
  3. Remove the acrylic, stand it on end on the paper/cardboard, have someone hold it steady while you do the next step. It's really a lot easier if someone helps.
  4. Hold the pen against the edge of the acrylic and trace around the periphery, being very careful with the extreme edges.
  5. Remove the acrylic, you should have a line drawing schematic that looks something like a very large eyebrow.
  6. Take a ruler and straight line the angles (bends on the inside of the angle as in the drawing.)
  7. With those angle points highlighted, the rest of the exercise is easy.
  8. The notation on the schematic, tape/paint, means that many acrylics have painted/taped ends that highlighted masked out areas.
  9. The dimensions are important. An 1/8th of an inch in either length or width (by mistake) will cause movement if smaller or tightness if larger. Both could cause early failure.

CURVED OR MOULDED ACRYLICS

  1. Run a flexible tape around the back side of the acrylic and note the dimensions.
  2. Note the length and thickness.
  3. Run a straight edge across the width and measure the drop from the straight edge to the surface.
  4. Note the dimensions of any tape or paint sections that might be present.

FLAT ACRYLICS

  1. Measure length, width and thickness.
  2. Note the dimensions of any tape or paint sections that might be present.

Fax or phone the dimensions...It's that easy
